Fright Nights on Mission Bay
This October, something sinister is taking over the Ohana.
Step aboard for Fright Nights, a 90-minute Halloween cruise created in partnership with Scareventures that begins with a haunting and ends with one hell of a party.
For the first 30 minutes, you’ll enter the world of the legendary Captain Diablo and his cursed crew. Expect fog, eerie lighting, haunted maritime scenes, creepy characters, and a ship that feels very different after dark.
Then the Captain gives the order.
The haunting ends. The music hits. The drinks start flowing. And Diablo’s crew remembers what made them infamous in the first place.
If you’re going to sail with the dead, you might as well party with them.
Costumes are strongly encouraged, and specialty Halloween cocktails will be available from the onboard Mahalo Bar.

The onboard Mahalo Bar will be serving four specialty Halloween cocktails created for Fright Nights:

Our regular Mahalo Bar selection will also be available throughout the cruise, including beer, wine, cocktails, and non-alcoholic options.
Come thirsty. Captain Diablo and his crew have had plenty of time to work on the drink menu.
Alcoholic beverages are available for purchase for guests 21+ with valid ID.
COME IN COSTUME
You’re boarding a haunted ship in October. This is not the night to play it safe.
Costumes are strongly encouraged, whether you go creepy, ridiculous, glamorous, nautical, elaborate, or completely over the top.
Come as a couple. Coordinate the whole group. Break out the pirate costume you’ve been waiting all year to justify.
Ghosts, monsters, villains, sailors, creatures, and questionable characters of every kind are welcome.
The stranger the ship looks by the end of the night, the better.

Fright Nights is designed to be creepy, eerie, and immersive rather than terrifying. Expect fog, dark lighting, haunted maritime scenes, creepy sounds, and costumed characters interacting with guests.
There are no intentional jump scares.
The 5 PM sailings are designed to be appropriate for older children who enjoy Halloween and spooky experiences. Evening sailings at 7 PM and 9 PM are 18+ and can lean further into the creepy atmosphere.

Not exactly. There’s no traditional haunted-house maze or walk-through path.
Instead, the Ohana itself becomes the haunted experience, with themed environments and costumed characters throughout the vessel while you cruise Mission Bay.

Fright Nights is intentionally split into two experiences.
The first 30 minutes are the haunted portion of the cruise. Then Captain Diablo gives the order, the atmosphere changes, and the final 60 minutes become a Halloween party with music, dancing, cocktails, and the crew joining the fun.
